Educos Arts & Science College, Kuttiadi, a self-financing college, run by the Kuttiadi Educational Co-operative Society, has carved a niche for itself as a reputed institution imparting quality education in the Higher Education sector. Started on 8 August 2015, the college was established with the specific objective of opening the portals of higher education to the underprivileged and marginalized sections of the rural student communities and thereby improving the educational profile of Kuttiady and surrounding areas.
The college is now offering five UG programs- (1) BA English Language & Literature with Journalism (2) BA Economics (3) Bcom with Computer Application (4) Bcom with Co-operation and (5) BBA. The number of meritorious students who have passed out of the institution and are pursuing Higher Education in prestigious state and central institutions stands as an eloquent testimony to the excellence of the faculty and the learning ambiance provided to them, overcoming all constraints. The college is now housed in a temporary building and is all geared up to shifting to an oxy–rich spacious campus on Nhallora Hills, a picturesque spot near Naduppoyil, 5KM from Kuttiady. Excellent faculty, brand new building with state-of-the-art infra facilities, a proactive Management committee with social accountability, well-disciplined students, and above all a peaceful ambiance, it is hoped, would vault the institution into a much-coveted destination for higher education.
