Duration of the Programme
Six semesters distributed in a period of 3 years
From semester 1 to 4 the students have to attend an additional ability enhancement course (Audit course) which is mandatory for the completion of their UG Programme.

Definitions:
Common Course - A Course that comes under the category of courses, including compulsory English and additional language courses.
Complementary Course - Course which opens opportunities to disciplines related to core course
Core Course - Compulsory course in relation to BA English Programme
Open Course - A course offered other disciplines from the same institution which can be opted by the students as per his/her choice
Elective Course - Elective Course means a course which can be substituted by equivalent course from the same subject.
Project - A Course which enables students to the basic elements of research. There will be an internal assessment by the supervising teacher of the Project and an External evaluation by an External Examiner appointed by the University.
Audit Course -Audit courses are mandatory for which the student can register without earning credits.
